GTA 6 delayed from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026
Rockstar’s first delay moved GTA 6 out of 2025 and gave it a specific date for the first time: May 26, 2026.
Confirmed by Rockstar
On May 2, 2025, Rockstar announced that GTA VI would release on May 26, 2026 instead of in fall 2025, and apologised that it was later than players expected. Take-Two confirmed the date the same day.
That date did not hold either: in November 2025 Rockstar moved the game again, to November 19, 2026.
