© Rockstar GamesRockstar announced the Extended Look on August 6, 2026 with a short teaser. It set the premiere for Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 27, with the video following on Rockstar’s YouTube channel and website at 9 p.m. ET.
Debuting on a streaming service, six hours before Rockstar’s own channels, was an unusual move for a studio that normally premieres its trailers itself. The teaser also repeated the November 19 release date and noted that pre-orders were open.
