Where is GTA 6 set?
GTA 6 is set in Vice City and the wider fictional state of Leonida, the series’ take on Florida. Rockstar has named six regions: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
Rockstar’s one-line pitch is “Vice City, USA”, but the game covers a whole state. Vice City is the main city. Around it, Rockstar’s official site profiles five more regions.
The six regions
Vice City: art deco hotels on Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market and VC Port. The Leonida Keys: a tropical island chain, and where Jason lives. Grassrivers: the wetlands. Port Gellhorn: a faded resort on the forgotten coast. Ambrosia: a refinery town where, as Rockstar puts it, the sugar refinery provides the jobs and the local biker gang “almost everything else”. Mount Kalaga National Park: hunting, fishing and off-road trails on the northern border.
